Solar panels work by turning sunlight directly into electricity we can use in our homes and schools.

Imagine sunlight as tiny balls of energy, like bouncy balls, that are constantly raining down on the Earth.

• The Solar Panel's Job: A solar panel is like a special trampoline for these bouncy balls.

• Bouncy Balls Hit the Trampoline: When the sunlight (bouncy balls) hits the panel (trampoline), it gives a little "push" to tiny particles inside the panel called electrons.

• Electrons Start Moving: These electrons are like tiny kids on the trampoline that start jumping around because of the push.

• Creating Electricity: When these electrons jump and move in a certain direction, it creates a flow of electricity, like a tiny river of power.

• Wiring and Power: This electricity flows through wires connected to the solar panel, just like how water flows through pipes. These wires then connect to your house, powering your lights, TV, and even your video games!
